Udinese starlet Luis Muriel has revealed he will be “more or less off the field for two months” after a consultation for his hip problem.
The Colombian striker has been suffering from pain in his hip and a specialist consultation in Barcelona showed considerably worse damage than expected.
“I am sad after learning I will be more or less off the field for two months,” wrote Muriel on his Twitter page.
“Now the only thing that counts is a full recovery. I thank you for your messages, which gave me so much strength and motivation.
“All I can do now is work hard and recover well.”
Considering Maicosuel was left off the Udinese squad for the Europa League, it could leave them short-staffed in attacking options.
