Antonio Cassano was overjoyed after helping Inter to a 3-0 win on his debut. “Playing with Diego Milito and Wesley Sneijder is easy.”
The striker only made the transfer from Milan this week in exchange for Giampaolo Pazzini, but was thrown straight into the starting XI against Pescara.
“The important thing was to bring home the three points and it was a good performance, as the team played well,” FantAntonio told Sky Sport Italia.
“I am very happy. Playing with Milito and Sneijder is easy, it’s very simply for me to combine with these teammates.
“Of course we have to improve physically, as we are only at the start of the season. When did I know I was going to play? I won’t tell you!”
Cassano had said he was particularly glad to be Yuto Nagatomo’s teammate and revealed how quickly he has settled in.
“This morning I work Nagatomo up at 9am, which he didn’t appreciate. As soon as I have a spare moment, I go and bother him!”
