Malaga’s Enzo Maresca will become a Sampdoria player by next Tuesday, reports Sky Sport Italia.
The 32-year-old is being targeted by the port club following their promotion and a deal is said to be on the horizon.
Samp will reportedly wrap up discussions and terms on their return from Barcelona where they will be playing in the Gamper Trophy game.
Maresca has not played in Serie A since he spent the 2004-05 season at Fiorentina. His other Italian clubs have included Juventus, Bologna and Piacenza.
