Terlizzi signs for Pescara

Newly-promoted Pescara have signed Christian Terlizzi on a two-year contract. “I’m happy to be back in Serie A.”

The former Siena and Parma defender had been at Serie B Varese since August 2011, scoring twice in the promotion play-offs.

“I am happy to be back in Serie A, as I just signed the two-year contract with Pescara,” he told Itasportpress.

“I thank the club and I’m sure I’ll be able to repay them for their faith in me. I will immediately put myself at the disposal of Coach Giovanni Stroppa.”

Terlizzi is 32 years old and has also played for the likes of Cesena, Palermo, Sampdoria and Catania in his career, while he has one cap for Italy.
