The Grifone have already concluded deals with Roma this week for Andrea Bertolacci and Panagiotis Tachtsidis and are set to also complete movement over the weekend involving Mattia Destro, Valerio Verre and Gianmario Piscitella.

Talks for 30-year-old Borriello have reportedly focused on two possible scenarios, with the Marassi outfit pushing for a loan deal or a €3m co-ownership plan.

President Enrico Preziosi hinted earlier this week that he would be talking to the capital club about Borriello.
