“It is not official yet, but they are players of a certain experience,” Mazzarri noted on Tuesday afternoon.
“Gamberini is a player who, like Goran Pandev, needs to be re-evaluated. He has some important experience and is an Italian international.
“Behrami is younger, a player who has always done well and has never thrown in the towel. He, like Gamberini, can cover a number of roles.
“He can play in the middle of midfield and on the wing. He is a player who can be very useful.”
The pair are understood to have cost the Stadio San Paolo outfit in the region of €8.5m.
Defender Gamberini will be 31 next month, while former West Ham and Lazio” data-scaytid=”19″>Lazio man Behrami is still just 27.
