Parma have confirmed the outright sale of midfielder Francesco Valiani to Serie A rivals Siena this summer.
The 31-year-old midfielder, who had been with the Gialloblu since January 2010, has had his transfer to Tuscany confirmed via a statement on Parma’s website.
“Parma announces that it has sold outright to Siena the midfielder Francesco Valiani,” read the note from the Ducali.
“We would like to thank Francesco for his valuable contribution during his time with Parma, for his great professionalism and humility that he has always demonstrated and we wish him the best for the rest of his career.”
The midfielder moves to Siena for an undisclosed fee and has been handed a three-year contract with Serse Cosmi’s outfit.
