Inter now risk losing Andrea Poli to another team this summer as his frustrated agent calls off talks on a proposed transfer.
The young midfielder spent last term on loan at the Nerazzurri and whilst they did not take up their right to permanently sign him for an agreed €5m fee earlier this summer, it was expected that new terms with his owners Sampdoria would be reached.
However, Sky Sport Italia are reporting that the player’s agent has broken off talks out of exasperation for Inter’s dalliance.
Both the player and Coach Andrea Stramaccioni have reportedly pressed for the move to go through, but the club’s alleged delay on action looks to have ended negotiations.
It now opens the way for Poli to consider other options open to him, which reportedly include Juventus, Milan and Napoli.
