Chievo boss Mimmo Di Carlo insists his side will start the new season with the same intention as past campaigns – to avoid relegation.
“This is my fourth season at Chievo,” the former Sampdoria tactician noted. “We’ll start the campaign with the same target and same ideas.
“We finished tenth in the table last time out with a total of 49 points. Now we want to try and end this year with more than that.
“There is everything that we need to do well, but in the knowledge that hard work is at the base of achieving important results.”
This will be the Flying Donkeys’ eleventh campaign in the Italian top flight.
