Catania have released David Suazo, Juan Pablo Carrizo, Andrea Campagnolo, Marco Motta, Osarimen Ebagua and Felipe Seymour.
A notice on the official club website confirmed that June 30 was the deadline for loan contracts, ending the 2011-12 season.
They have decided not to renew the loans or make bids for goalkeepers Carrizo and Campagnolo.
Suazo, Motta, Seymour and Ebagua have also been released “at the natural end of their contracts, so they return to their respective clubs.”
Carrizo is owned by Lazio, Motta by Juventus, Seymour by Genoa and Ebagua by Varese.
Campagnolo and Suazo are now free agents.
