Riccardo Montolivo admits he’s already “getting goosebumps” at the thought of Italy’s Euro 2012 semi-final with Germany.

The midfielder can’t wait for the Thursday evening showdown in Warsaw and sent a message to all Azzurri supporters.

“If I think of the people who will suffer along with us in front of the television, then I’m getting goosebumps,” wrote Montolivo on his Twitter account.

“We will give it our all… for you, for us, for the nation.”

Montolivo had his first start of the tournament in the 0-0 quarter-final with England, missing a penalty during the shoot-out.

The game with Germany is very special to him, as he is half-German and spent his summers near Hamburg when growing up.
