The future of Luca Cigarini is on hold at this moment in time, the player’s representative has commented.
The midfielder spent last season on loan at Atalanta, but he is still owned by Serie A giants Napoli.
“Everything is at a standstill right now,” Giovanni Bia told Calcio Sport 24. “All of the negotiations for him are currently on stand-by.
“Fiorentina? I haven’t heard from the Viola for a number of days right now and I haven’t heard from Atalanta either.
“There is nothing new to report at this time.”
Cigarini was included in Italy’s Euro 2012 preliminary squad, but he didn’t make the final 23 after the squad was cut from 32.
