Newly promoted Torino insist that only a “crazy” offer could tempt them into selling Italian international Angelo Ogbonna.

The centre-back, part of the Azzurri squad at Euro 2012, has been linked with big clubs such as Milan and Juventus in Italy, as well as a number of foreign sides.

“I’m very attached to Ogbonna,” President Urbano Cairo stated on Tuesday. “He belongs to us and recently extended his contract until June 2016.

“A lot of teams have been in touch, but he’ll stay with Toro. We won’t sell him unless we receive a crazy proposal.”

Ogbonna is a defender who celebrated his 24th birthday in May.

Cairo added that the links with Maxi Lopez of Catania and Luca Cigarini, who belongs to Napoli, are just media rumours.

“We’ll build a strong squad well before we start pre-season,” concluded the Granata chief.
