Serie A side Atalanta have revealed that an English giant have shown transfer interest in Federico Peluso.
The left-back impressed onlookers in Bergamo this term and he’s subsequently expected to move on this summer.
Champions Juventus have been paired with a bid, but it seems that a future in the Premiership may be a possible scenario.
“We have a lot of interest in Peluso,” Atalanta transfer chief Pierpaolo Marino stated as he attended today’s Lega Calcio meeting in Milan.
“We’ve had requests for him from abroad too and, at the end of the day, there is the possibility that our championship may lose him.
“Amongst the clubs keen is a big team from England.”
The Roman, now 28, moved to Atalanta in January 2009 after spells at Pro Vercelli, Ternana and Albinoleffe.
