Juve-Parma to talk Giovinco

Juventus will hold talks with Parma on Thursday to discuss the future of the co-owned Sebastian Giovinco.

Bianconeri transfer officials Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici are expected to meet with Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi and director general Pietro Leonardi later today.

Parma signed a 50 per cent share in Giovinco last summer after his positive loan stint during the 2010-11 campaign.

Giovinco enjoyed a stellar past campaign and his 15 goals ensured that he was included in Italy’s Euro 2012 squad.

It also made sure that he caught the attention of others clubs with sides such as Inter and Barcelona being paired with his signature.

According to Tuttosport, Juventus will start the negotiations with the intention of taking back full control of the player.

Boss Antonio Conte has allegedly told Marotta that he would like the 25-year-old in his squad for next season’s Champions League assault.

Parma signed their share in Giovinco for just €3m. Ghirardi recently claimed that the player is currently worth around €40m.
