Departing Catania boss Vincenzo Montella has reportedly arrived at Fiorentina HQ to finalise contract terms.
Stories in Italy this morning are suggesting that the tactician is speaking with club officials, including sporting director Daniele Prade.
Montella has freed himself from his Stadio Massimino contract which still had 12 months left to run on it.
Having been overlooked by Roma given their capture of Pescara’s Zdenek Zeman, Fiorentina made their move for the former striker.
Montella will replace Delio Rossi after he was sacked in May following a touchline brawl with midfielder Adem Ljajic.
