Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini isn’t expecting a summer transfer session to remember. “There is no money.”

New Genoa CEO Pietro Lo Monaco recently suggested that the market would be “tragic” and Zamparini agrees.

“Football is at a standstill,” he told Radio Radio. “There is no money around, that is what is missing right now.

“Clubs no longer invest and they are all in plaster. Milan, for example, are thinking of selling to raise €60m-€80m to then go and buy…”
