Chievo’s sporting director Luigi Sartori has admitted defeat in keeping hold of Michael Bradley, but denies rumours of Perparim Hetemaj’s departure.

American midfielder Bradley spent last term on loan at the Bentegodi, but after impressing for the Mussi Volanti he now finds himself in hot demand this summer.

It is a demand that the Veronese side believe they cannot compete with.

“At an official level with [Chievo President Luca] Campedelli we took a few days of reflection,” revealed Sartori when asked about Bradley on Radio Mana Mana Sport today.

“But with Bradley he has important offers from top teams in our Division and at the top level in foreign championships from England and Germany.

“My feeling? Probably we will part ways in this summer’s transfer market. We’ve already found his replacement.”

However, the ds refused to concede the same ground on Finland international Hetemaj, who also has attracted reported interest from Lazio this week.

“Hetemaj is a great player, but neither [Lazio President Claudio] Lotito with Campedelli, nor [Aquile sporting director Igli] Tare with me have spoken to us on this issue, at least so far.

“Lotito talks with Campedelli almost daily. If they had talked about the Finnish player then I would have been made aware. Of course, though, never say never in football.”
