Inter have finally made official the appointment of Andrea Stramaccioni as Coach after finalising details on his three-year contract.

The 36-year-old tactician was thrown in at the deep end towards the end of last season, having been handed the post by President Massimo Moratti after guiding the club’s youth team to success in the inaugural NextGen Series.

Taking the club to the verge of Champions League qualification, though, he then agreed to a three-year contract last week to lead the team forward.

However, that written agreement has only just been handed to the Lega Calco, making official his appointment, after confirmation this week from the Italian Football Federation that the young tactician would be included on the next UEFA Pro Licence course.

All Serie A Coaches are required to have this qualification or be studying towards it, so Inter could only file his contract, signed until July 2015, once they knew he would be guaranteed a place on the next course.
