The following statement was placed on the official club website this evening.
“With regards to the rumours that are circulating around the bench of Cagliari Calcio, reporting candidates or those putting themselves forward for the post, the club confirms the project for next season has Massimo Ficcadenti as its Coach.”
There had been doubts over Ficcadenti, as he was fired and re-hired during the campaign by President Massimo Cellino.
