Matteo Brighi’s future will depend on which Coach Roma decide to appoint, the player’s agent has revealed.
The 31-year-old spent this season on loan with Atalanta, but his campaign was one affected by injury and form.
“He has a contract at Roma until 2014,” Vanni Puzzolo told TMW on Monday. “At this moment in time I can’t really say too much about his future or discuss interested clubs.
“He is a player who is liked, but we firstly need to understand who will be the Roma Coach next season. Then we’ll see…”
Brighi made just 11 League appearances for the Bergamo boys this term for a total of only 811 minutes.
Pescara boss Zdenek Zeman is currently leading the race to succeed Luis Enrique after overtaking Catania’s Vincenzo Montella.
