Zdenek Zeman has suggested a completely different number to the record books and Juventus on how many titles the Bianconeri have won.

The Old Lady are celebrating the 2011-12 Scudetto as their 30th Italian League title, even though the record books will officially list 28, after two of the titles were revoked in the wake of Calciopoli.

FIFA President Sepp Blatter has revealed his belief that the club should count only 28, but Zeman, who has previously accused Juventus players in the mid-1990s of doping, believes an even lower total might be appropriate.

“How many titles do Juve have? I count 22 or 23…” the veteran Coach joked to the assembled media on Friday.

“Everyone can put whatever they want, even I could deserve a couple of stars. Juventus fans feel this way, I would say of their Scudetti I would count 22, maybe 23.”

The tactician, who turns 65 tomorrow, has impressed in charge of Serie B side Pescara this term and if he doesn’t win promotion with them, he is being linked with move to Serie A for next season and a return to Roma, to replace Luis Enrique.

“I don’t think Roma are interested in me. The fans maybe yes, people like the way I play football.”
