Fiorentina caretaker manager Vincenzo Guerini has warned it won’t be easy for the club to find a suitable Coach for next season.

The Viola have escaped relegation with a 2-0 win at Lecce on Saturday, but are on their third tactician after Sinisa Mihajlovic and Delio Rossi were sacked.

“If Fiorentina had a bad campaign then it’s everyone’s fault. You must never distinguish the individual responsibilities within a squad,” said Guerini, who was promoted from the role of team manager to end the season.

“I believe on a technical and club level so much has to be done for this team. Other than a new director of sport, the club must also choose a new Coach.

“The man who comes here must have great temperament, character and determination. Will I be confirmed? Absolutely not, I want to live my life in a more relaxed environment now.”

Guerini credited Rossi with the work that saved Fiorentina from the drop and confirmed he rang the former tactician after their win over Lecce.

“He complimented us for securing safety. I think he insulted himself more than anyone else for what he did.”

Rossi was sacked last week after physically attacking player Adem Ljajic in a dugout brawl.
