Antonio Di Natale has warned his Udinese teammates that third place in the League is not yet secured for the club, with one game to play.

The Zebrette head south in Week 38 to Sicily, needing just a point from their match with Catania to make certain of the League position and with it the final Champions League qualification spot.

However, whilst holding all the cards, club captain Di Natale calls for caution and concentration from the team.

“For us there is still a point needed before we can celebrate and we need to get it against Catania, a team that is strong and so far has done well this season,” the Italian reflected on Monday.

“Securing qualification to the Champions League for the second consecutive season would be nice, but the games are not over yet.

“We have something more than the Sicilians in terms of motivation and we need to show it on the field.

“It would be nice to qualify for the Champions League again and throughout Udine it would be a significant achievement.”

Di Natale also spared a thought for newly-crowned champions Juventus, but insisted he did not have any regrets about turning them down a couple of seasons ago.

“We need to congratulate Juve. It was good to win a championship ahead of another big club like Milan. Could I have won that Scudetto with Juventus? I have no regrets and I’m happy in Udine.”
