After confirming bans for the Aquile’s goalkeeper and defender for their part played in the protests that marred the end of the weekend’s clash with Udinese, the Italian League have also confirmed that the club has been fined.

For the brawl that ensued after Roberto Pereyra had netted the Zebrette’s second goal in controversial circumstances, the Romans have been hit with a €20,000 penalty.
“The fine is for failing to prevent at the end of the game unauthorised entry on to the playing field by a director and a member of staff, who pushed a director of the opposite team, causing him to fall to the ground,” read the League’s explanatory statement.
Meanwhile, Udinese striker Antonio Di Natale has been handed a €2,000 fine for simulation in the Lazio penalty area during the second half of the game at the Stadio Friuli.
