Federico Marchetti tells his Lazio teammates that Sunday’s trip to Udinese is “a crucial turning point” for their Champions League ambitions.

The race for third is increasingly complex, as the Biancocelesti are on 55 points followed by Napoli on 54, Udinese and Inter 52, plus outsiders Roma on 50.

“We feel in good shape and trained with intensity to face Sunday’s match at our best,” the goalkeeper told Lazio Style Radio.

“It is going to be a crucial turning point for the target we have to reach. I think it is an incredibly important game, as Udinese are coming off a series of middling performances, while we too have had a few problems.

“Things aren’t going our way recently, but we half belief in ourselves and in football it all balances out in the end.

“Now we have decided to look forward and are ready for the Udinese test. I think Napoli are the most dangerous challengers for third place, especially considering their fixture list.”
