Juventus President Andrea Agnelli insists the Scudetto dream is still alive – but he won’t be drawn on the third star issue.

“To be just two points behind Milan, the undisputed favourites for the title, is something to be proud of,” Agnelli stated on Friday during a Press conference to confirm a shirt sponsorship deal with Jeep.

“We have worked really hard and Coach Antonio Conte deserves a lot of credit for that,” continued the official.

“Today, with eight games left, we are playing for an achievable dream in the knowledge that many people thought that there were five teams better than us in August.”

Should Juve win the Scudetto, they could add a third gold star to their jerseys to illustrate 30 League titles – even if Calciopoli saw them lose two of their 29 championships.

“We’ll ponder that problem when we get to it,” Agnelli continued. “There is no need to think about that hypothesis right now.”

Juve have netted a financial boost with the €35m Jeep deal, but the club’s stadium is still without a brand name.

“Our two principal sponsors will be Jeep and Nike,” he added. “We know that there are talks going on about the stadium, but there is nothing concrete.”
