Arrigo Sacchi believes Barcelona are the favourites in tonight’s quarter-final, but “it will be a very open game and Milan can do damage.”

The first leg ended 0-0, so the Rossoneri would qualify for the next round of the Champions League with a score draw at the Camp Nou.

“It will be a very open game, even if I see Barcelona as slight favourites,” the former Milan and Atletico Madrid manager told Spanish radio station Onda Cero.

“Neither side was particularly aggressive in the first leg, as Barca’s possession was very slow and several players seemed to be off form.

“Milan have many experienced players and are coming off a positive spell. They can do damage to the Catalans, especially if Barcelona are not aggressive and the defence shows the same problems it has had over the campaign.

“Thiago Silva and Mark van Bommel are big absentees for Milan, but there are many other players capable of hurting Barcelona.

“I see Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the same level as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, even if his personality does not allow him to be consistent throughout an entire season.”
