The Viola are in crisis and could be sucked back into the relegation battle after their humiliating 5-0 home loss to arch rivals Juve.

It is reported that this afternoon crowds of angry supporters surrounded the team bus that was leaving Florence for a pre-match ‘ritiro’ training camp in Viareggio.

They chanted protest slogans and hurled abuse at players inside, prompting director Vincenzo Guerini to come down from the bus for a heated exchange.

It is reported Jovetic then came down to promise the fans he and his teammates would put in the utmost effort during the final weeks of the season, but that they needed support in order to achieve that.

Among the heaviest hit by protests was Alessio Cerci, who was sent off just 21 minutes into the 5-0 Juventus match.
